Hello,
Oracle has really desupported Oracle Names from 10g client and they are
still working on a fix for LDAP (OID) on 10g instant Client.
The best bet would be TNSNAMES. (I know, after using ONames it is a pain to
think of TNSNAMES), OID works with standard clients.
